Answering the question about the impact of the pandemic on plans for the development of the city, Sobyanin assured that this year "they did not even slow down anything." “Starting from large city construction projects, from the construction of the subway, roads, renovation, even landscaping. It is clear that this, perhaps, is not happening on such a scale as in previous years, but everything is quite large, ”the mayor said.
July 9 Sobyanin appreciated likelihood of introducing a new lockdown in Moscow. This option is possible if the capital's enterprises do not fulfill the requirements for vaccination against coronavirus for 60 percent of their employees, the mayor said. He stressed that if the requirement for mandatory vaccination of employees is not met, the first blow will come to enterprises that are included in this program - organizations in the field of trade, services and public catering. Sobyanin recalled that not only the city, but also the heads of companies are responsible for their employees.
Earlier, Sobyanin spoke about the pace of vaccination against coronavirus in Moscow. He noted that the townspeople have become more responsible for vaccination, and about 100 thousand people are vaccinated in the city every day.
