Yerevan rejected Baku's offer

Xeberinvar.com - reports that:Official Yerevan publicly responded with a refusal to Baku's proposal to sign a peace treaty with mutual recognition of the sovereignty and inviolability of borders. Chairman of the Armenian parliamentary commission on foreign relations, associate of the acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and candidate for the post of Foreign Minister Ruben Rubinyan said that Yerevan would not sign any peace treaty "under pressure" from Baku, such a scenario, in his words, is simply excluded.

Rubinyan importantly states that Armenia "will gladly sign a document with Azerbaijan" if Baku recognizes the "status" of Nagorno-Karabakh based on "the will of the people of Karabakh". Note that the other day, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said that Baku offers Yerevan to begin the process of normalizing relations on the basis of inviolability of borders and respect for territorial integrity, relying on the norms and principles of international law.
